Ceist:320 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a land registry matter for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow can be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19251/03]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for first registration which was lodged on 3 December 1997. Dealing Number D2003TS002040E refers. I am also informed that processing of the application has been delayed due to conflicting claims as to the location of boundaries.
I am further informed that this application is associated with Dealing Number D2003TJ00204M. A legal query issued on this case on 1 July 2003 and the application cannot proceed until this query has been satisfactorily resolved.
I understand that due to the complicated nature of these type of cases, which require examination of an applicant's entitlement to the property concerned, it is not possible to estimate a date of completion at this time. However, I can assure the Deputy that the matter is receiving attention in the Land Registry and, subject to a satisfactory response to the query raised, will be completed as soon as possible.
