355 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the names of persons with their correspondence address in County Roscommon who are currently on State boards under the aegis of his Department; the date of their appointment; the duration of their term; the role of each on the board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19345/03]
Appointments to State bodies are made by reference to the qualifications of the individuals concerned.
There are six agencies under the aegis of my Department for which the Department provides secretarial-executive support: the Buildings Regulations Advisory Board, Comhar, the Fire Services Council, the Rent Tribunal, the Private Rented Tenancies Board and the Special Areas of Conservation Appeals Board. There are no board members on those agencies with correspondence addresses in County Roscommon.
My Department does not have reliable information on the correspondence addresses of board members of the 12 other agencies under its aegis to whom operational functions have been fully devolved. This information may appropriately be sought from these bodies.
