30 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the tender for cattle tags will be granted; the number of applications there were; the number which will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18917/03]
Eight tenders were received in response to the invitation to tender for a service provider or providers for the supply of bovine animals identification tags and birth registration documents. These tenders are being evaluated and it is expected that a decision will be made on the provider or providers during the next few weeks.
