307 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when queries which issued to the legal services division of his Department from the Land Registry office on 23 April 2003 will be dealt with to enable dealing applications (details supplied) to be progressed. [20058/03]
My Department received a query from the Land Registry office, dated 16 July 2003, in relation to the dealings to which the Deputy refers. An interim reply issued to the Land Registry on 7 August 2003 pending the examination of a vesting order, which was lodged in the Land Registry office in 1998. The query raised by the Land Registry office was answered on 18 September 2003 to the effect that the said vesting order contained an error and it is considered that this will have to be rectified by means of a judicial amending order in accordance with section 30(3) of the Land Act 1931. This matter is now in train.
