Vol. 571 No. 1

Written Answers. - Development Co-operation Ireland.

John Gormley

Ceist:

445 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the costs involved in changing title from Ireland Aid to Development Co-operation Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20542/03]

Earlier this year Ireland Aid changed its name to Development Co-operation Ireland. This is to reflect more closely the partnership approach taken by the Government in its development assistance programme. The timing of this change was chosen to coincide with the development of a new online resource centre for the programme. To date €1,300 has been spent on the design of the new logo for the programme and €1,507 has been spent on signage for the Development Co-operation Ireland office in Dublin.
