560 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if Bus Éireann will ensure that the school transport for a person (details supplied) County Sligo is provided by a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20343/03]
The position in this case is that the family referred to by the Deputy have been offered a remote area grant towards the cost of providing transport from their home to the bus pick up point. The family have been advised of their right to appeal this decision to the School Transport Appeals Board. It is open to the family to submit an appeal to the board and its decision is final.
