693 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will use the post-primary contingency fund to provide funding for the covered walkway at Confey College, Leixlip, County Kildare given that the fund stands at ?1 million and the cost of the covered walkway is ?50,000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department will continue to manage the contingency sum for emergencies that is set out in the programme to deal, as best as possible, with the most urgent needs in schools. My Department does not envisage being in a position to allocate funding for the covered walkway at Confey College, Leixlip, County Kildare.
