1007 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the action he is taking to fill the current vacancy of a senior dental surgeon in special needs in County Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21208/03]
As the Deputy is aware, the provision of dental services for eligible persons in County Roscommon is the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board in the first instance. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to respond directly to the Deputy on the matter.
