1015 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the projects from the list of national development plan projects at Waterford Regional Hospital (details supplied) that are scheduled to commence construction by the end of 2003 or by the end of 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A project team, established by the South Eastern Health Board and including representatives of my Department, completed a brief identifying development proposals for Waterford Regional Hospital – WRH. The board submitted the brief to my Department and subsequently identified certain departments within the overall brief schedule for priority development. These proposals are at present being examined in my Department in the context of future capital priorities for the board and depending on overall funding resources available.
