Ceist:1021 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason no funding has been allocated for new training places in 2003 for people with intellectual disabilities. [21321/03]

In July 2003 additional funding was made available by my Department for the provision of a range of day services, including new training places where these were identified as appropriate to meet the needs in particular of young adults who left school last June.
