1069 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Transport when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will receive a date for their driving test, in view of the fact that the person needs a full licence for work purposes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20685/03]

A driving test will be arranged as soon as possible for the person concerned.

The average waiting times for driving tests at each test centre, as at 15 September 2003, are set out in the following table. This information is regularly updated on the website www.drivingtest.ie.

To date, there is no record of receipt of an application for a driving test from the person concerned.
