1138 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Land Registry Office will expedite a transfer of parts application for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; and when this dealing will be completed. [20040/03]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for a transfer of part and releases, which was lodged on 14 May 2003. Dealing Number D2003SMO04042K refers. I am further informed that this application was completed on 23 September 2003.
1139 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a section 49 dealing will be completed for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [20041/03]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application under section 49, i.e. acquisition of title by virtue of long possession, of the Registration of Titles Act 1964 which was lodged on 7 March 2003. Dealing Number D2003SM002079R refers.
I understand that due to their complicated nature, applications under section 49, which require detailed examination of claims for registration as owners, can take some time to process. Accordingly, it is not possible to estimate a completion date at this stage.
I am further informed that queries issued to the lodging solicitors on 12 September 2003 and the application cannot proceed until these queries have been satisfactorily resolved. However, I can assure the Deputy that, on receipt of a satisfactory reply, the matter will receive further attention in the Land Registry.

I am further informed that queries issued on Dealing Number D2003SM005328D on 12 August 2003 and that the applications cannot proceed until these queries have been satisfactorily resolved.

I am further informed that this application is associated with an application for a transfer of part which was lodged on 15 May 2000. Dealing Number 2000SM004552X refers. I am also informed that a query issued on 10 July 2003 to the lodging solicitors and a reminder was issued on 23 September 2003 in relation to Dealing Number D2000SM004552X. I understand that the applications cannot proceed until this query has been satisfactorily resolved. I can assure the Deputy that, on receipt of a satisfactory response to the query raised, the applications will receive further attention in the Land Registry and will be completed as soon as possible.
