Vol. 571 No. 1

Written Answers. - Citizenship Applications.

Michael Mulcahy

Ceist:

1216 Mr. Mulcahy asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a final decision will be made on an application for family reunification (details supplied). [20847/03]

The person in question was granted refugee status in 1997 and is now an Irish citizen. The reference numbers listed relate to applications from his three nieces, their husbands and their nine children to join him in the State. My Department has recently been in correspondence with the applicant to clarify details in respect of the applications. On receipt of the information requested the applications will be carefully considered and a decision will issue thereafter.
