191 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the person who has responsibility for providing speech and language therapy and occupational therapy to autistic children who attend post-primary schools; if there has been a change in the policy in providing this service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for providing speech and language therapy and occupational therapy services to children requiring such services, including children attending post-primary schools, rests with the relevant health authority.

Issues relating to policy in this area are a matter for the health authorities concerned.
