111 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the reasons for the frequent breakdowns in Internet access within Leinster House and in constituency based offices, which are now occurring on such a regular basis as to have a detrimental effect on the efficient workings of Members' offices. [21722/03]
The Houses of the Oireachtas IT unit is responsible for the provision of Internet access services in the Houses of the Oireachtas. I understand there have been some problems in this regard and that these are being addressed. My Department is prepared to provide technical assistance to help resolve these matters.
