280 Mr. O'Dowd asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in regard to fund ing for the Youth Information Centre, West Gate, Drogheda, in the context of the national youth work development plan 2003-2007. [22072/03]
The national youth work development plan 2003-2007, published on 5 August 2003, includes a significant number of proposed actions. Action 1.10 recommends that the national youth work advisory committee should review youth information provision nationally and explore the possibility and the costs of upgrading and expanding the network of existing youth information centres. I have recently asked the NYWAC to investigate and report to me on the future requirements in relation to youth information provision and services. I will consider the situation further on receipt of this report.
