281 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science if it is possible to post junior and leaving certificate past examination papers on his Department's website, commencing September 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22073/03]
On foot of a Government decision of 6 March 2003, the State Examinations Commission has been established with statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the national certificate examinations.
The examination papers and marking schemes from 1999 to 2000 inclusive, and for 2002 are held on my Department's website at www.education.ie The examination papers for 2001 are only available in hard copy and can be requested from the State Examinations Commission offices in Cornamaddy, Athlone, County Westmeath. The examination papers for 2003 are held on the State Examinations Commission website at www.examinations.ie and there is also a portal link from my Department's website to this address.
