463 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has received a copy of a recent report into the causes of the Stardust tragedy in 1981; and if he will refer the report to the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation. [21826/03]
The Deputy may be aware that, recently, representatives from my Department, from the Department of Health and Children and from the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government have held a number of meetings with representatives of the Stardust Victims Committee, at which it has been stated that any new evidence brought forward by the committee in regard to the cause of the fire at the Stardust in 1981 would be examined. My Department awaits receipt of documentation in relation to any new evidence.
