Vol. 572 No. 1

Written Answers. - National Stadium.

Jack Wall

Ceist:

86 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism his views on a recent report (details supplied) that there is no business or economic case for a new 65,000 seater stadium in Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22188/03]

Although there have been recent newspaper stories to this effect, these stories are factually incorrect. The report in question is quite clear that it is not making such a statement, but is merely pointing out that a report, which it was commissioned to analyse, does not contain a business case for a 65,000 seater stadium.
