198 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the position regarding an application by Kildare County Council to his Department for funding for the provision of mains gas in Lakeside Park, Newbridge; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22652/03]
My Department gave approval to Kildare County Council in May 2000 and August 2002 for the installation of natural gas central heating in a number of their houses in Newbridge, including Lakeside Park at a cost of €209,500, which will be funded from internal capital receipts. It is now a matter for the county council to progress the matter.
