Ceist:

141 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children when physiotherapy treatment will be restored in the case of the spouse of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who is a stroke patient being treated at home; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23787/03]

Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Callely):

The responsibility for the provision of health services in the Kildare area rests with the South-Western Area Health Board acting under the aegis of the ERHA. My Department has asked the board's chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
