Vol. 572 No. 5

Adjournment Debate. - Residency Permits.

Aengus Ó Snodaigh

Ceist:

169 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the status of the residency application of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who is married to an Irish citizen; and if a determination can be expected soon in this case. [23818/03]

The person in question made an application in March 2003 for permission to remain in the State based on marriage to an Irish national. Applications of this type are currently taking approximately ten months to finalise. It is not envisaged that her application would be determined for at least another three months.
