Written Answers. - Corrib Gas Field.

Martin Ferris

Ceist:

207 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the amount the State has spent in creating the infrastructure for the proposed Corrib gas pipeline. [24457/03]

The State has had no involvement in the provision of the infrastructure for the proposed Corrib gas pipeline and therefore there has been no State expenditure in this regard.

Ceist:

208 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the amount in lost taxes and royalties to the State on the current estimated value of the Corrib gas field due to the current licensing terms as compared to those that pertained prior to 1987. [24458/03]

The matter of taxation falls within the area of responsibility of the Minister for Finance. I have no role in the matter.

Ceist:

209 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the amount Enterprise Energy Ireland Limited has spent to date on the Corrib gas project; and the proportion of that money which was spent directly here. [24459/03]

This is a matter for Enterprise Energy Ireland Limited. I have no role in the matter.
