267 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the nature of the communication made to all local authorities in respect of implementing a new development charge schedule as required under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act 1999; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Guidance on the provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2000 relating to development contributions was issued to each planning authority by circular letter PD 4/2003 on 27 June 2003. Further letters were issued to city and county managers on 28 July 2003 and 10 October 2003. I will arrange to have a copy of these letters forwarded to the Deputy.
