Vol. 573 No. 1

Written Answers. - Freedom of Information.

Mary Upton

Ceist:

158 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Finance the dates in 1991, 1992 and 1993 on which a person (details supplied) made representations to the then Ministers for Finance; the matters which were raised in representations; the action which was taken to investigate these matters; if the Minister referred the representations to the Department; if the Minister referred them to the Ministers for Education and Science and Justice, Equality and Law Reform; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24590/03]

Representations made by a person to a public representative are confidential to the parties involved. Therefore, it would not be appropriate to provide the information requested by the Deputy. However, if the person in question submits a request under the Freedom of Information Acts any such personal information in the Department concerning him or her would be provided free of charge.
