273 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Finance the overall figure within his Department for the percentages, quantities and costs of recycled and non recycled paper and paper products used by his Department in the last period for which figures are available; and the plans his Department has to increase its use of recycled paper and paper products, and cut down on the use of non recycled paper and paper products. The cost from January to end September 2003 of paper and paper products purchased by my Department was around €165,000, of which some €30,000 related to recycled products. The precise quantities of paper and paper products used, made up of various different categories, are not readily available. My Department will continue to examine the increased use of recycled paper and paper products where practicable and cost effective.
