Ceist:

355 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will accede to a request from South Dublin County Council to grant ownership of a small tract of land at Ballymount Road, Kingswood, currently in the possession of his Department, to the local authority to provide a necessary footpath in the area; if the matter can be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has agreed in principle to the transfer of the small tract of land at Ballymount Road, Kingswood, to South Dublin County Council.

The Chief State Solicitor's office is proceeding with the transfer of ownership.
