421 Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of times the interdepartmental working group established under the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness in 2000 to examine the feasibility of introducing a cost of disability payment scheme has met; when it will report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The working group established under the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness to examine the feasibility of introducing a cost of disability payment has met 19 times. It is anticipated that the working group will produce a position paper by year end.
