Vol. 573 No. 3

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

John Curran

Ceist:

589 Mr. Curran asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when an application for a general permission to remain here from a person (details supplied) in County Dublin will be dealt with; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25339/03]

The person concerned was originally granted residency based on her marriage to an Irish national. She has recently sought permission to remain in the State on other grounds and I expect that a decision will be reached shortly following an examination of the documentation submitted in support of this application.
