I propose to take Questions Nos. 673, 674 and 711 together.
My Department will liaise with and support the efforts of Galway County Council in dealing with the cause and effects of the recent and continuing bog slide at Derrybrien. The council monitored and responded to the bog movements, using specialist geological and other advice. It worked closely with the ESB-Hibernian Wind Energy and other local land owners to control and remediate the effects of the bog slide. My Department will remain in touch with the council regarding necessary works to reinstate public roads or bridges in the area.
My Department has no function with regard to the HSA exercising its powers on work practices.
