266 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children if funding will be provided in 2004 in view of the need for CT scanner facilities at Mallow General Hospital and the local fundraising effort; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25761/03]

The provision of services at Mallow General Hospital is a matter for the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to her.
