293 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 150 of 19 June 2003, the progress made on the application lodged by Sligo County Council in April 2002 for the upgrade of the sewerage system in Enniscrone; the reason for the delay in granting the necessary funding for this scheme; if a commitment will be given that it will be granted; the amount of moneys that will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2003-2005 to advance through planning and proceed to construction in 2004, at an estimated cost of €0.8 million. A water pricing report and other information received from Sligo County Council in September 2003 is being examined in my Department in conjunction with the preliminary report for the scheme and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
