177 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the progress which has been made to establish a register of biocidal products sold here following the indication that such a register would be established in early 2004 according to the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 69 of 3 April 2003. Work is ongoing with respect to the preparation of an Irish register of biocidal products. To date information has been submitted on more than 1,400 such products and it remains the aim of my Department to publish a register early in 2004.
