148 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children the details of the death by suicide of a person (details supplied) in Ward 5B of the Mid-Western Regional Hospital; if measures will be taken to ensure that such a tragedy will not take place again; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the matter referred to by the Deputy rests with the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
