240 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if his Department has had further discussions with Kildare County Council or other agencies with a view to identifying a mechanism to bring about an alleviation of the repeated flooding at Mill Lane, Leixlip, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to my response to his most recent parliamentary question on this matter, Parliamentary Question No. 142 of 28 May 2003. No further discussions have taken place and the matter remains in the hands of Kildare County Council.
