Ceist:

249 Mr. McHugh asked the Minister for Finance if he will make ?5 million available in 2004 to sustain young people's participation in youth work and help the sector develop to meet their growing needs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26231/03]

Minister for Finance (Mr. McCreevy):

The 2004 allocations are under consideration within the overall framework of the 2004 Estimates negotiations and the budget. Each Department's allocation for 2004 will be included in the Estimates volume, which will be published later this month.
