The ICT projects currently in progress or planned to commence shortly in my Department are listed on the table below. Most projects are meeting current budgetary expectations and scheduling. All projects are planned, monitored and controlled within a project management framework involving users, the information systems division and suppliers. All changes to base-lined plans and budgets are managed through a change control process that includes an impact assessment on planned deliverables and schedules prior to project board acceptance/rejection.
My Department has recently finalised a comprehensive ICT strategy 2003-05 and are in the process of planning new projects to commence in 2004 in line with strategy recommendations and available funding.
