Vol. 574 No. 1

Written Answers. - Third Level Fees.

Olwyn Enright

Ceist:

388 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Health and Children if there are grants available from his Department or the health board for a person doing a masters in audiology in the University of London in view of the fact that there are vacancies for this job in some health boards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26393/03]

Responsibility for human resource planning in audiology in each health board region, including consideration of the requirement for the provision of training sponsorships, rests with the chief executive officer of each health board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of each of the health boards and the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to her directly.
