502 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the number of ICT projects or initiatives being undertaken by his Department; the cost of each project; if they are being or have been delivered within budget and on time; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26078/03]

My Department is currently undertaking four ICT projects. The costs of the projects are as follows: €1,425,000, implementation of a new financial system to support the management information framework; €309,000, implementation of peoplesoft human resources system; €415,000, implementation of client database and grants processing system to support the Gaeltacht grants process; €102,000, development of ICT strategy for my Department; and €201,000, implementation of information system to support the administration of the Leader+ and national rural development programmes.All the projects are being delivered on time. Costs for the Leader system are running at €9,000 more than the original budget due to a number of enhancements made to the original software package. All the other projects are being delivered within budget.
