507 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs when he will be announcing the renewal of the contracts of the regional support agencies which expire on 31 December 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26189/03]
The contracts with regional support agencies under the community development support programme are due to expire on the 28 February 2004. The future funding of regional support agencies will be considered in light of the review of structures under way and in the context of resources to be made available for 2004.
