292 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will supplement the 5% shortfall from the South-Western Area Health Board to youth projects in County Kildare to ensure that planned projects by the youth services can be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the funding of child care services in County Kildare rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the South-Western Area Health Board. My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to examine the South-Western Area Health Board's support of youth projects in Kildare and to respond to the Deputy directly.
