Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Eamon Gilmore

Ceist:

313 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if he has received from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, contract documents for the Corke Abbey sewerage pumping station scheme; when he received them; the reason they have not been approved yet; when approval will issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26678/03]

These works are an element of the Shanganagh sewerage scheme. It is listed in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2003-2005 as a scheme to commence construction in 2004. Outstanding documentation required by my Department to facilitate consideration of the contract documents for the Corke Abbey works was submitted by the county council on 2 September. My Department is examining the documents and they will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

Question No. 314 answered with Question No. 312.
