219 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the reasons for the considerable delays in processing appeal applications in respect of nursing home subventions by the ERHA; if the authority will ensure that a decision is made in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 as soon as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health services in the Dublin area rests with the authority. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to her, as a matter of urgency.
