123 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a decision made on 29 October 2003 by the regional manager of community services in the South Eastern Health Board to approve an application for a motorised transport grant by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be upheld; if the written confirmation issued to the person's public representative will be honoured; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The assessment of and entitlement to the motorised transport grant in an individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, a copy of the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
