242 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if an appointment for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny at Ardkeen Hospital, Waterford, can be expedited; if the request for urgent attention issued by the person's general practitioner will be considered; if there is a waiting list; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of services at Waterford Regional Hospital is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
