Ceist:287 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a passport for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has been mislaid. [28933/03]

The person in question was refused leave to land at Dublin Airport on 18 January 2000 as he was not in possession of a valid visa. His passport was taken possession of by an immigration officer on that date. Unfortunately, due to passage of time and despite a comprehensive search at Dublin Airport this passport cannot now be located.
