279 Mr. Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Science the details of the application to his Department in respect of school accommodation by a school (details supplied) in County Laois; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30945/03]
An application for grant-aid towards improvement works has been received from the management authority of the school in question. This application is being examined in the school planning section of my Department in the context of framing the capital programme for 2004. However, the timing as to when any individual project can proceed is dependent on the competing priorities for the financial allocation for 2004 and subsequent years.
