386 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the numbers employed by category and grade in his Department in which decentralisation is involved; the current numbers by grade in each office decentralised to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources (Mr. D. Ahern):

The global number of staff of my Department to be decentralised to new headquarters in Cavan is 425. I will arrange to have forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible the detailed breakdown by category and grade of staff employed in my Department, including those currently located in decentralised offices.
