Ceist:

138 Mr. Howlin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Questions Nos. 40 and 63 of 23 October 2003 on the application of international accounting standards, when she envisages the completion of the consultation process outlined; and when she expects to be able to make a final decision on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Mr. M. Ahern):

I expect the consultation process in connection with the application of international accounting standards will be brought to a conclusion early in the new year, following which it will be possible to take a decision on the matter.
