Before coming to the Order of Business I propose to deal with a number of notices under Standing Order 31.
Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the funding problem affecting rape crisis centres due to the capping of funds since 2002, thereby undermining the ability of these centres to address the extensive, pervasive and ongoing evil effects of sexual violence.
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the necessity for the House to debate the report of the National Economic and Social Council on housing, which was published in December 2004; the necessity for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to make a statement to the House whether he has completed his consideration of that report and the other reports which have a bearing on the housing sector and if he intends to bring proposals following consideration of these reports.
Having considered the matters raised, they are not in order under Standing Order 31.
